Djerba
Located in south Tunisia, the island of Djerba (also writes Jerba) is touristic. The island is only 16 miles (25 km) long and 13 miles (20 km) wide. Its surface is flat and its vegetation is almost absent, except palm trees and some olive groves. All beaches are located to the east of the island, where the hotels line up. The sea in summer (july to september) is at 88°F (31°C) and can go up to 93°F (34°C).
