Climates in alphabetical order:

ANTIGUA Climate : Tropical, humid and insular climate. This tropical climate divides the year into two seasons: a dry period from December to April, with a lot of sunshine and supportable heat, and a rainy season from May to November, as hot but with a higher humidity, in the form of intense but very short showers occurring in the evening. It is also during this period that hurricanes pass over Antigua and Barbuda, the sister island north of Antigua. The best time to visit the archipelago is the dry season.

ARUBA Climate : Aruba has a tropical climate with very low temperature variations according to the season. ideal not? Aruba is a practically flat island, well known for its white sandy beaches.

Its tropical climate is moderated by a gentle wind that blows continuously from the Atlantic ocean. The thermometer displays a constant ideal temperature around 81F to feel good on the beach without suffering from heat waves.

AUSTRALIA Climate : The Cairns region in northern Australia and on the edge of the Pacific Ocean, has a warm tropical climate in summerto enjoy the beaches. Avoid the beaches from November to April because of the monsoon rains. Mild temperatures occur in winter, so nights are cool.

The Sydney area , further south of Australia and on the Pacific Ocean, has a subtropical and humid climate. The winters are mild and the summers humid with a very good sunshine of 82% per year, perfect to land on the beach . In winter, temperatures range from 52F to 62F during the day. In the summer, humidity is present, the temperatures oscillate roughly between 79F and 82F, and fall to 68F at nightfall.

BAHAMAS Climate : Not to far from Florida, the island of Nassau, in the heart of the Bahamas (archipelago of 700 islands and islets) has a tropical marine climate. The Bahamas are tempered by the delightfully warm waters of the Gulf Stream. The climate is temperate all year round in the Bahamas, the trade winds are constant and the days at the beach in summer at 89F are possible. Beware, however, of the cyclonic period summer months from June to October. In winter, we advise against the beaches of Nassau because the temperature can fall to 64F. The Bahamas are sunny more than 322 days a year, that is enough to put your towel on a beautiful sandy beach during the summer.

BARBADOS Climate : Tropical climate, rainy season (June to October).

BELIZE Climate : The Belize has a subtropical climate with two seasons: the dry season from January to May and the rainy season from May to December. The Belize is well watered and green. The best season to enjoy the beaches is between January and May, no huge rain or destructive cyclone. January is often cool, especially in the mornings, take a sweater! From June to August, the tropical rains are almost daily and often diluvian with thunderstorms. Otherwise, the climate of Belize is conducive to lazing on the beach with a beautiful Caribbean Sea.

BERMUDA Climate : Best period: April to November. Soft subtropical climate throughout the year thanks to the Gulf Stream. Water temperature a little cool from December to March. 68F winter and 86F summer. Risk of cyclones, tropical storms and strong winds.

BRAZIL Climate : The Brazil has a predominantly tropical but temperate climate in the south. The seaside extends over many miles from north to south, so it is normal to have several climates. We propose four climates for the cities of Belem, Fortaleza, Recife and Rio de Janeiro , which are therefore beach towns with beaches known in Brazil.

The summer months are reversed compared to France and warmer (December, January and February). Temperatures range from 86F to 95F. The winter months are more temperate from July to September with 59F to 77F in the southeast. In the north, the tropical climate is hot and humid with two seasons, one rainy from January to May and another dry from June to October. The Northeast is a temperate climate all year round ranging from 72F to 82F. In the extreme south, the winter is cold and the snow can fall.

In any case, Brazil is a beach destination and the Brazilians tanned bodies on the beach of Copacabana in Rio de Janeiro really proves it!

CAMBODIA Climate : Cambodia is located in the Gulf of Thailand, between Vietnam and Thailand. The climate is tropical so the maximum temperature (diurnal) is almost the same during the year with averages of 88F. The rainy season is between May and November. Most of the precipitation is along the coasts and in the mountains to the southwest. The dry period is from December to March.

Sihanoukville, which has changed its name to "Kampong Som", offers Victory Beach, Otres Beach, Serendipity Beach and Ochheuteal Beach. you will find a bustling city, hotels and beaches worthy for travelers type Thailand.

CANARY ISLANDS Climate : The Canary Islands live an eternal spring. The average temperature varies between 64F in winter and 75F in summer. If the heat gets a little too much on the beach, the air will be cooler in the mountains, in the winter you will definitely need hot clothing at high altitude. The northern islands have a subtropical climate, with the exception of Lanzarote and Fuerteventura, which are drier and slightly warmer. Precipitation is generally low except on northern coasts exposed to the winds and especially on the northern part of the most mountainous islands. The flatter islands receive very little rain. It happens that the sirocco, a hot wind coming from the Sahara, starts to blow, especially in summer, the light becomes twilight and a layer of dust covers everything.

CAPE VERDE Climate : Praia, a seaside destination of Cape Verde has a temperate climate. The bathers will really feast in October, the Atlantic Ocean reaches 79F and then falls back to 68F. Also in October, it is 84F in the shade during the day. Be careful however to the currents in the sea, the beaches are beautiful and attractive but sometimes dangerous, ask the regulars before you bathe.

You can enjoy the pool from March (79F) to July (82F), then from October (84F) to December (79F). Between the months of August and September, it is 84F but the rain arrives weak and very irregular, enough to spoil your beach day.

CAYMAN ISLANDS Climate : The climate in the Cayman Islands is typically tropical and marine. The summers from May to October are warm and rainy. In particular, July and August are the hottest months. Moisture is also higher in summer, but heavy occasional showers can be a relief from scorching heat, store your towels and sunglasses! The Cayman Islands are caressed by the trade winds, but the sun is hot and we recommend always paying attention to the extremely strong UV index in the Caribbean, even without a strong thermometer. It is said that the sun spikes!

The hurricane / cyclone season runs from 1 June to the end of November. During this time, take the alerts seriously! The winters from November to April are cool and relatively dry with a generally clear sky and a calm sea. You may need to wear a light sweater or jacket for cool winter evenings. Tourists do not just come to the Caymanian tax haven because this land offers you great and beautiful beaches of fine sand.

COLOMBIA Climate : The island of San Andres has a warm climate with an average temperature of 27 degrees over the year. The island of San Andres is located 440 miles from the coast of Colombia, in the heart of the Caribbean. Pox Hole, the sea has carved a natural pool in the coral and El Hoyo Soplador, the blower's hole.

COMOROS Climate : The Comoros possess a tropical marine climate with a rather long rainy season (November to August). Heat and humidity are no problem when you are in a swimsuit at the beach , but the ideal month to enjoy the beaches in Comoros is October.

An Indian Ocean at 82F and an air temperature at 81F cause the osmosis of idleness . It is true that the islands of the Comoros are not sold by tour operators and few tourists wish to travel, one day may be?

CORSICA Climate : This 114 miles long French region is located in the Mediterranean Sea . Its climate is like its relief, contrasted. The Corsica is divided into four climatic zones staggered from Mediterranean to Alpine 200m altitude above 1500m. The summer is dry, warm and very sunny while the winter can experience great cold on the heights.

On the Corsican coast, summer temperatures reach 86F, sea average 75F, ideal for relaxing at the beach for holidays; the winter is mild and it only very rarely freezes thanks to the influence of the heat of the Mediterranean waters.

Autumn is the rainy season, abundant depending on the altitude and generating important floods.

The island of beauty is particularly exposed to the winds of land and sea, generated by the difference of warming between the earth and the water. These winds naturally regulate the climate of the coastal zones by blurring both the hot summer heat and the winter frosts.

COSTA RICA Climate : The Costa Rica is a destination rather for nature lovers and for beaches fans. This Central American country has the chance to open on two seas (Caribbean Sea and Pacific Ocean), to have magnificent beaches still wild, luxuriant vegetation, a varied relief (between low land and high land) and to benefit from a tropical or even subtropical climate.

There are therefore two seasons: a dry season from late November to late April corresponding to summer and a so-called green season from May to November characterized by heavy rains. The Caribbean coast is more watered than the Pacific coastexcept in July / August when the phenomenon is reversed. On the low side (coastal), the daytime temperature varies between 59F and 45F, the water temperature is between 73F and 86F. In high ground (mountain), it oscillates between 0 and 86F. CROATIA Climate : Croatia has a Mediterranean climate, with a prevailing continental climate with a hot summer at 91F and a cold winter like in France. By the sea, the climate is Mediterranean, perfect for a beach holiday, although it is true that Croatia is not renowned for its sandy beaches, but rather for its pebbles beaches, see concreting.

CUBA Climate : The island of Cuba has a good tropical climate soothed by the trade winds. When to go to find a beautiful beach of sunny sand in Varadero ? The best months to relax at the beach are: April in priority, then November and December because the temperatures allow sea baths without grimace and a warm sun. In all cases, for idleness on beaches of Varadero, forget the period from July to October inclusive because tropical storms, or worse, cyclones are expected regularly. Too bad because these cyclonic periods bring warmth, humidity, bathing temperature more friendly!

CURACAO Climate : Curacao is called the Netherlands Antilles with as capital Willemstad. The tropical climate is sunny with tropical showers in July and August. Although the winters are cool especially in the land (62F), water sports are practicable all year round, the temperature of the water never falling below 61F.

DOMINICA Climate : The island of Dominica , located in the Caribbean , has a very tropical climate, moderated by the trade winds. When should we leave on the beautiful beaches of Roseau ? The best months for holidays in Dominica are from January to May. The water is at 79F just for swimming .

For relaxation on thebeaches of Dominica , forget the period of cyclones from June to November (The east coast, is often watered by showers), or take the risk because the temperature of the sea reaches 82F, we enjoy!

In Cairo, pollution, noise and the world mixing with the heat give an impression of suffocation. The months of discovery are May, October or November. Hot season from May to September / Colder season from November to March.

FIDJI ISLANDS Climate : Fiji boasts an ideal tropical climate of the South Pacific Ocean. Temperatures oscillate between 79F and 86F during the day, this gives a feeling of constancy and well-being throughout the year. The best time to put your towel on the beautiful beaches of Fiji, extends from June to September, despite the strong but brief rainfall. The trade winds from the east to the south bring year-round refreshing breezes in the afternoon and early evening.

The big rainy season is from December to April and coincides with the hottest months in summer. The Fiji Islands are located in the southern hemisphere therefore the summer lasts from November to March and the winter is positioned from April to September. However, there are no significant differences in diurnal, nocturnal and even bathing air temperatures.

Typhoons can sometimes hit Fiji between mid-November and mid-April. However, these storms and depressions are generally not a danger to the Fiji Islands because the usual paths of these vortices are quite distant and pass much further south.

FRANCE Climate : Saint Tropez , Marseille, Nice, Cannes and all the other cities of Mediterranean front sports a summer sungenerous of 81F in the shade on average but which can climb to 95F punctually. The sea is generally at 77F but the winds of mistral or tramontana (towards Perpignan) cool the sea and sometimes it drops to 70F, a pity because it does not rise very quickly afterwards.

On the side of Aquitaine, Lacanau , Biarritz, the temperatures are milder and the naturally cool ocean can bring on the beaches , water at 73F in its best days, but it is often 70F in summer. Moreover, the sun is less present in general than on the Gulf of Lion.

FRENCH POLYNESIA Climate : Located on the northern edge of the subtropical high pressure belt of the southern hemisphere, French Polynesia is practically all the year under the influence of the trade winds of the eastern sector. The convergence of the northeast and southeast trade winds creates a disturbed zone called the South Pacific Convergence Zone (ZCPS). It is on this discontinuity that the cyclonic perturbations that affect French Polynesia, generally from January to March, develop. Its climate is tropical maritime type. There are two seasons: the warm season from November to April, the cool season from May to October. French Polynesia can be divided into three climatic zones: - the first encompasses the Marquesas Islands, the two seasons are little differentiated in temperature and humidity, in rainfall rather low and equally distributed throughout the year. - the second includes the archipelagos of the Society and the Tuamotu, the two seasons are well differentiated as regards the rainfall regime with a very sharp maximum during the warm season. - the third is of interest to the archipelagos of the Australes and the Gambier, and the south-east of the Tuamotu, the two seasons are very distinct as regards temperatures. The rainfall is strong but the maximum in the warm season is less accentuated. the two seasons are distinct in temperature. The rainfall is strong but the maximum in the warm season is less accentuated. the two seasons are distinct in temperature. The rainfall is strong but the maximum in the warm season is less accentuated.

GREECE Climate : Temperate climate, mild, wet winters, hot and dry summers. The climate in Greece is typical of the Mediterranean climate: mild and rainy winter, relatively warm and dry summer, and generally prolonged periods of sunshine for most of the year. A wide variety of climate sub-types, also in the Mediterranean climate approach, is present in several regions of Greece. This is due to the influence of topography (large mountain chains, along the central part), and to the air masses coming from the moisture sources of the central Mediterranean Sea.

GUADELOUPE Climate : Tropical, humid and insular climate. The Grande-Terre limestone plateau and the islands regularly experience severe droughts. In Basse-Terre, the relief, perpendicular to the flow of the trade winds, regulates the regime of the rains. Large-scale phenomena (cyclones, grain lines, for example) or on a local scale (diurnal convection encouraging the development of often violent and stormy vector clouds) sometimes provoke terrible weather, causing catastrophic flooding or blows equally devastating winds. Finally, the typical hurricane season extends from early June to the end of October, but can extend until the end of November.

GUAM Climate : The climate of Guam is a pleasantly warm tropical climate all year round. The average annual and constant temperature is 82F as the temperature of the bathing water.

The coolest and least humid months (everything is relative), marked by the trade winds of the west, go from December to February. Although the warmest months go from March to August, refreshing trade winds blow regularly.

There are two seasons, the dry season, called "fanumnangan", begins in December and ends in June. The rainy season, called "fanuchanan", begins in July and ends in November.

Typhoons can strike Guam from July to mid-November and can sometimes cause heavy damage and flooding. However, this is rare because the typhoon roads are usually very far to the west to reach Guam.

We recommend light cotton clothing throughout the year, with an umbrella or a raincoat for sudden heavy showers. No matter where you go, be prepared for high temperatures and humidity.

GUATEMALA Climate : The climate in the Pacific Coast region of Guatemala is tropical, warm and humid with daytime temperatures of up to 104F and nights rarely falling below 70F.

GUYANA Climate : Tropical climate, hot, humid, moderated by the northeast trade wind, 2 rainy seasons (May to mid-August, mid-November to mid-January).

HAITI Climate : The climate of Haiti is truly tropical by the sea, with some variations depending on the altitude. There are two rainy seasons between April and June and from October to mid-November. Regular deforestation in Haiti causes droughts and floods. The cyclone period of Haiti spreads from June to October. Cyclones are a great threat to this very poor and abused country. Haiti has a real small potential beach and idleness, spoiled by political instabilities and its catastrophic economic and social situation. The advantages are that it speaks French and its cultural history. Disadvantages are the tourist areas below other Caribbean destinations, interesting spots are difficult to access and the population is very likely.

HONDURAS Climate : Subtropical climate on the plains, temperate in the mountains.

INDIA Climate : Goa has a tropical climate mainly driven by the Arabian Sea. The winter of October to March corresponds to a pleasant high tourist season. Temperatures range from 82F to 91F. The heavy atmosphere is finally relieved by the start of the monsoon season from June to August. The wind and rain strengthened in July.

Season of the monsoon : From June to September, Goa passes through a monsoon. Its beaches receive abundant precipitation during these months. July is the rainiest month of the year, forget the beaches! Goa only sees the sun for three hours a day. Heavy rains often cause sudden and repeated floods. Although the heat decreases slightly, it is not advisable to plan Goa and its beaches at this time.

INDONESIA Climate : Tropical, hot, humid climate, more moderate in the mountains. Bali enjoys a warm and humid climate throughout the year. Near the coast, the temperature varies from 81F (dry season) to 89F (rainy season). In the mountains, it is about 20F to 77F depending on altitude. The dry season extends from March to October and the rainy season from November to April with more precipitation from December to February. There may, however, be showers even in the dry season but of short duration and essentially at the end of the day.

ISRAEL Climate : This small country in the Middle East has 3 seas and a lake with as many tourist coasts: the Mediterranean to the west, the Red Sea (Gulf of Aqaba) to the South, the Dead Sea and Lake Tiberias inland. The rainy season runs from May to December, and precipitation is rather moderate and spaced (north-east of the most exposed island). Cyclonic episodes can occur between June and November.

The best time to travel to Jamaica is during the dry season, between December and April. The beaches of the Caribbean are waiting for you!

Antananarivo: 61F to 77F in January and 48F to 64F in July. Nosy Be: 73F to 88F in January and 63F to 84F in July. The climate of Madagascar is subtropical (hot and humid), with a rainy season from November to March and a dry season from April to September. The southern and western regions are more arid. From December to March the monsoon winds sometimes bring cyclones on the north and east of the island. In the mountainous regions (Antananarivo) it is hot and stormy during the rainy season and dry and mild the rest of the year.

MALAYSIA Climate : Tropical climate, annual monsoons in the south-west (April to October) and northeast (October to February)

MALDIVES Climate : The climate of the Maldives reflects a perfect image: sunny days, nights winded by trade winds, and mild and calm mornings. The temperature of the air is almost constant, oscillating between 84F and 88F throughout the year. The sun therefore heats up every day with an average temperature of about 86F Celsius, a happiness against rheumatism.

The Maldives has two distinct seasons: the dry season from December to April and the wet season from mid-May to November. Thunderstorms are rare in the Maldives but rather occur during the monsoon months, breaking the perpetual heatwave. Warm temperatures allow you to go for a walk in the rain, or even bathe in the warm Indian Ocean water at 84F all year round, but watch out for thunderstorms!

The Maldives are beach destinations, snorkeling (mask, snorkel, fins), diving in bottles and other nautical activities if the lagoon allows. Do not expect to rent a car, visit museums, think only of your beach towel and your sunscreen. There are a few excursions to fishing or inhabited islands and you will have to wear a uniform compatible with Islam so as not to shock the locals. Attention to the sun positioned at the zenith in Maldives, it is very strong and radiates to the maximum. Sunburns through the hair is a rare experience but one can remember for a long time.

MALTA AND GOZO Climate : Mediterranean climate with mild and rainy winters and hot and dry summers

MARTINIQUE Climate : Tropical maritime climate, characterized by softness of temperatures and excellent ventilation, which often provide a feeling of comfort, despite a high quasi-permanent humidity.

MAURITIUS Climate : If you like the beach, which is our main topic on TropicsBeach, avoid the winter season from June to September, which is a period at low temperatures between 61F at night and 75F the day at best, which is little to enjoy the sand and lagoon too cool to savor the fish tank and coral gardens. The month of October corresponds to the French school holidays and offers a good compromise, even if the lagoon is at 79F / 81F. The best holiday period in Mauritius is from early November to December 15, everything is perfect, until the temperature of the lagoon at 82F, then the rains come with rare cyclones that can spoil everything from January to April. The rain is more important on the center of the island but few tourists stay there. It rains more on the east coast than on the west coast. Here are the best places to stay in Mauritius: Flic en Flac, Trou aux biches, Pointe aux canonniers, Grand Baie, Mont Choisy, Belle Mare, Mahebourg, Pointe d'Esny, Morne Brabant and Pereybere. Winter is therefore the most enjoyable season. It's the dry season. The cyclone risk is high in September and October, when cloudiness is observed. Acapulco has a mild tropical climate and the most stable of america, with an average annual temperature of 82F. The rainy season runs from June to October, showers are frequent in the afternoons, and a dry and sunny season from November to May. Hurricanes can occasionally touch the area at the end of summer. The high tourist season in Acapulco begins in December and ends at Easter.

On the Atlantic coast, Agadir is one of the great Moroccan seaside resorts with 13 miles of sunny beaches more than 300 days a year, so you can sunbathe all year round. In summer, the average temperature is 79F between July and September. The city is not too stifling thanks to the breeze coming from the Atlantic Ocean. The temperature of the water is about 70F, it is the Atlantic!

NEW CALEDONIA Climate : From December to March: it is the hot season, known as cyclone season. The intertropical zone of convergence is then located in the southern hemisphere, its mean position oscillating around the 15th parallel. During this season, the formation of about ten (on average) tropical disturbances occurs in the area between the southern equator and eastern Australia. These perturbations, at first more or less stationary, then have an erratic trajectory. They cause torrential rains and winds that increase with the importance of the phenomenon. April and May: it is a transitional season. The area of inter-tropical convergence rises towards the north. Tropical disturbances are rare and generally not very active. Rainfall decreases and temperatures decrease significantly. from June to August: it's the cool season. The intertropical convergence zone is located in the northern hemisphere. The cold fronts of perturbations of polar origin cross the Tasman Sea and sometimes reach the territory. Their passage is accompanied by precipitation often abundant, especially on the south of the Grande Terre and a burst of west wind blowing sometimes in storm. This peculiarity gave them the name of « coups d'ouest ». The temperature of the air passes through its annual minimum between mid-July and mid-August. September to November: it is a transitional season. The zone of inter-tropical convergence descends to the south, crossing the equator. The subtropical anticyclonic belt, which then reaches its maximum importance, protects our regions from disturbances of polar origin. The trade wind blows almost permanently, it is the most beautiful period of the year, but it is also the dry season, favorable to the bushfires.

PANAMA Climate : Tropical maritime climate, hot, humid, cloudy, rainy season (May to January), short dry season (January to May).

REUNION ISLAND Climate : Located in the south-western part of the Indian Ocean, Reunion Island remains for most of the year under the influence of trade winds led by the semi-permanent high pressure of the Indian Ocean. The intensity and characteristics of these dominant southeastern trade winds vary according to the season. During the southern winter (May to November), this anticyclone is most often centered in the southern neighborhood of the Mascarenes and its action can extend to the equator. The generally stable trade wind flow results in relatively cool and dry weather in many places, despite some rainfall associated with frontal system passages. During the southern summer (December to April) the high pressure is moving towards the south, and the Mascarenes are interested only by its northern border. The zone of low intertropical pressures, along the thermal equator, moves southwards and directly influences these regions. The trade winds are weakening, a northeastern current predominates most often and a hot, humid and rainy weather is established during this season. Tropical cyclones occur during the southern summer. Without taking into account the highly diversified microclimatic zones generated by the tormented relief of the island, several regions with contrasting rainfall can be observed on either side of the two powerful mountain ranges.
