History of Hurricanes and Tropical Storms in the Caribbean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean

Maps of the Hurricanes show the taken routes along the Atlantic Ocean and the Caribbean Sea. For the traveler who loves the beautiful beaches (and others stuff), it is interesting to watch the dangerous periods not to leave during these waves of violence and intense rains. Some hurricanes are deadly to the already accustomed populations and you will be locked in your hotel to hear unimaginable sounds of storms. This is really frightening. The humidity rate skyrockets and becomes stuffy, thanks to the air conditioning but you will quickly going around in circles. Also, the damage after cyclone can be considerable to spoil your vacation. You are warned!

Saint-Martin after Hurricane Irma (Category 5) of September 2017

On September 7, 2017, the passage of Hurricane Irma in the West Indies caused considerable damage to Saint Martin and Saint Bartholomew. Irma is Category 5, the highest level on the Saffir-Simpson scale, with its strong winds exceeding 217 mph (350 km/h), causing many 10 meters high waves and it remained in category 5 for 69 hours, a record! The destruction of 95% of the islands shows the violence of such a natural phenomenon. Perhaps Hurricane Irma will be the hurricane of the century? The human death toll is nine dead and one hundred people injured on the French islands of the West Indies. Two other people died in Barbuda and Anguilla. Four people died in the US Virgin Islands and two in Puerto Rico.
