Cayman Islands : climate and when to go to George town

The climate in the Cayman Islands is typically tropical and marine. The summers from May to October are warm and rainy. In particular, July and August are the hottest months. Moisture is also higher in summer, but heavy occasional showers can be a relief from scorching heat, store your towels and sunglasses! The Cayman Islands are caressed by the trade winds, but the sun is hot and we recommend always paying attention to the extremely strong UV index in the Caribbean, even without a strong thermometer. It is said that the sun spikes!

The hurricane / cyclone season runs from 1 June to the end of November. During this time, take the alerts seriously! The winters from November to April are cool and relatively dry with a generally clear sky and a calm sea. You may need to wear a light sweater or jacket for cool winter evenings. Tourists do not just come to the Caymanian tax haven because this land offers you great and beautiful beaches of fine sand.

Weather uncertainties 2019 to go to George Town ?

Stormy risks under tropics

Risks of tropical rains and showers
In the tropics, these storm or rain pictograms indicate that tropical showers or stormy weather are possible. It is difficult to predict the exact local weather in the tropics. This is especially true by the sea and the beach. Consider that more than 180 mm of rain per month is the limit to enjoy the beach on vacation. So check this data provided for each month on the preferred destinations of this site.

When traveling in the tropics as a seaside, rain is not welcome. If you see this indicator, with possible storms, that does not mean that it will rain all day long. When we observe the local rainfall, it is either really zero or very weak. Meteorologists prefer to be pessimistic. So observe below, the skies photographed during a week announced stormy in Asia. It did not rain once. I invite you to integrate this parameter before going to George Town for a good trip to the sun!
