Kho Phi Phi Don
Phi Phi Don is the smallest and only inhabited island between Phuket Island and Thailand, in the province of Krabi. The island is cut in half by a wide sand strip where the hotels were reconstructed in concrete (2004 tsunami). Phi Phi is actually a small archipelago consisting of two islands. That small gulf is the great looking spot for snorkeling with many corals in a transparent water.
Kho Phi Phi Le
Kho means island in Thai. Kho Phi Phi is part of the archipelago of the Phi Phi Islands in the Andaman Sea. It depends on the Province of Krabi. Kho Phi Phi Don is the largest island of the archipelago. The island is totally uninhabited but worldwide known. Maya Bay served as setting for many scenes from the film « The Beach » with Leonardo DiCaprio. Try to visit and not to arrive at low tide, it is much less beautiful. At high tide, it is one of the most beautiful bay in the world!
Koh samui
Koh samui is the third largest island in southern Thailand. This paradise has gained an international reputation while maintaining a tropical and relaxed image. Koh samui is completely covered with coconut palms and bougainvilleas and will delight travelers seeking magnificent white sand beaches and turquoise water, wild beaches as well as shopping or nightlife enthusiasts.
Phuket
Phuket is the largest island of Thailand, located in the Andaman Sea to the west of the Malaysian Peninsula. The main tourist area on Phuket Island is Patong Beach which also has most of the nightlife of Phuket and is the center of cheap shopping on the island. Other popular beaches include Karon Beach, Kata Beach, Nai Harn Beach and Bang Tao Beach, these beaches are on the west coast of Phuket, no beach on te east side, too much of mud. Like Kho Phi Phi, the island was hit by a tsunami caused by the earthquake on December 26 of 2004.
