Corsica : climate and when to go to Ajaccio
This 114 miles long French region is located in the Mediterranean Sea . Its climate is like its relief, contrasted. The Corsica is divided into four climatic zones staggered from Mediterranean to Alpine 200m altitude above 1500m. The summer is dry, warm and very sunny while the winter can experience great cold on the heights.
On the Corsican coast, summer temperatures reach 86°F, sea average 75°F, ideal for relaxing at the beach for holidays; the winter is mild and it only very rarely freezes thanks to the influence of the heat of the Mediterranean waters.
Autumn is the rainy season, abundant depending on the altitude and generating important floods.
The island of beauty is particularly exposed to the winds of land and sea, generated by the difference of warming between the earth and the water. These winds naturally regulate the climate of the coastal zones by blurring both the hot summer heat and the winter frosts.

Weather uncertainties 2025 to go to Ajaccio ?

When traveling in the tropics as a seaside, rain is not welcome. If you see this indicator, with possible storms, that does not mean that it will rain all day long. When we observe the local rainfall, it is either really zero or very weak. Meteorologists prefer to be pessimistic. So observe below, the skies photographed during a week announced stormy in Asia. It did not rain once. I invite you to integrate this parameter before going to Ajaccio for a good trip to the sun!
