Costa Rica : climate and when to go to Puerto limon
The Costa Rica is a destination rather for nature lovers and for beaches fans. This Central American country has the chance to open on two seas (Caribbean Sea and Pacific Ocean), to have magnificent beaches still wild, luxuriant vegetation, a varied relief (between low land and high land) and to benefit from a tropical or even subtropical climate.
There are therefore two seasons: a dry season from late November to late April corresponding to summer and a so-called green season from May to November characterized by heavy rains. The Caribbean coast is more watered than the Pacific coastexcept in July / August when the phenomenon is reversed. On the low side (coastal), the daytime temperature varies between 59°F and 45°F, the water temperature is between 73°F and 86°F. In high ground (mountain), it oscillates between 0 and 86°F. No hurricane risk in Costa Rica.

Weather uncertainties 2025 to go to Puerto Limon ?

When traveling in the tropics as a seaside, rain is not welcome. If you see this indicator, with possible storms, that does not mean that it will rain all day long. When we observe the local rainfall, it is either really zero or very weak. Meteorologists prefer to be pessimistic. So observe below, the skies photographed during a week announced stormy in Asia. It did not rain once. I invite you to integrate this parameter before going to Puerto Limon for a good trip to the sun!
